It doesn’t predict your future
We read natal placements and their symbolic relationships. We do not forecast dates, promise outcomes, identify a soulmate, or tell you what must happen. A square is not a warning of disaster; a trine is not a guarantee of success.
It doesn’t define your identity
A placement cannot capture your upbringing, culture, relationships, or choices. Use the reading as an invitation to reflect. Spiritual meaning is personal; the chart cannot verify past lives, ancestral experiences, or messages from spirit guides.
It doesn’t replace professional care
Reports do not diagnose conditions or provide medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice. Do not use a reading as the basis for decisions about treatment, safety, money, or legal matters.
It doesn’t turn uncertainty into certainty
Chart accuracy depends on birth data, historical time-zone records, and calculation settings. Interpretations also differ across traditions. A more detailed report adds interpretation, not scientific certainty or access to a fixed destiny.
Calculation conventions
Clarity is part of the readingNodes use the mean lunar node, labeled on each point. True nodes are not calculated, so programs using true nodes can differ. We use traditional rulers throughout: Mars for Scorpio, Saturn for Aquarius, and Jupiter for Pisces. Outer planets are interpreted but receive no essential-dignity assignments. Element and modality totals count the ten planets only, excluding the Ascendant and nodes. Phase labels use eight 45° sectors centered on 0°, 45°, 90°, 135°, 180°, 225°, 270° and 315° of Moon-minus-Sun longitude. Pattern detection covers only grand trines, T-squares and grand crosses, not yods or kites.
Time conversion uses the hosting runtime’s IANA time-zone database; its version is not exposed or pinned by this app. Modern city zone IDs do not guarantee historically correct local rules. Pre-1970 births and pre-standard/local mean times need specialist verification. See IANA’s scope and limitations. Unknown-time ranges sample actual positions at intervals of at most 15 minutes and are approximate. Displayed minute rounding never changes the calculated sign; sign, house and aspect logic use unrounded values.
Report text combines original planet-pair subject matter with shared aspect-family framing and calculated chart context. This is an automated framework, not an independently approved professional reading.
The method behind the meaning.
What we calculate
Geocentric apparent longitudes in the true ecliptic of date, using Astronomy Engine 2.1.19. Its published design target is about ±1 arcminute. Degrees are rounded to arcminutes in the display; this is not a claim of arcsecond precision.
Western tropical zodiac. Whole Sign, Equal, or Placidus houses. Apparent sidereal time and date-specific true obliquity determine the Ascendant and Midheaven. No silent house-system fallback.
The lunar nodes use a mean-node polynomial. They can differ from true nodes in another app. Chiron, asteroids, Lilith, fixed stars, declination aspects, Arabic parts, progressions, and predictive techniques are not included in this release.
Time and uncertainty
Local time converts through IANA time-zone rules using the runtime’s time-zone database. We flag repeated daylight-saving times and reject skipped clock times. Historical records—especially before 1970—can be incomplete.
With unknown time, the wheel uses a labeled local-noon reference. We omit the Ascendant, houses, angles, and pattern claims. Sign changes and provisional aspects are flagged. The reference is not a substitute for a recorded birth time.
Placidus is unavailable at latitudes of 66° or more in this app. Select Whole Sign or Equal instead.
Aspects and interpretation
Five major aspects use these standard maximum orbs: conjunction, square, trine, and opposition 6°; sextile 4°. Contacts involving the Sun or Moon allow 8° except sextiles. Nodes cap at 3° and angles at 4°. Tight mode multiplies each limit by 0.65.
Optional minor aspects: semisextile 30°, semisquare 45°, quintile 72°, sesquiquadrate 135°, biquintile 144° (2° orbs); quincunx 150° (3°). Orb conventions differ among astrologers.
Reports combine sign, house, relationships, and traditional rulership. Basic sign dignity labels cover domicile, exaltation, detriment, and fall for the seven traditional planets. They do not measure a person’s worth.
Original, reflective writing
Our automated reports use original, rule-based interpretation text informed by established astrology teaching. They are not copied book reports, AI claims of psychic knowledge, or live readings by a professional astrologer.
We identify grand trines, T-squares, and grand crosses only when all required major aspects meet the selected orbs. We count all ten planets equally for element and modality summaries. Outer-planet sign meanings are labeled as generational.

Common questions
Why does another website show a different chart?
First compare the birth time, city, historical UTC offset, tropical versus sidereal zodiac, house system, lunar-node convention, and aspect orbs. Whole Sign, Equal, and Placidus can assign different houses without changing a planet’s zodiac position. Small degree differences may come from rounding, coordinates, or the astronomical method. If a sign or angle differs substantially, contact support with the two calculation settings; don’t assume either result is correct without checking.
What if my birth time is approximate or unknown?
An approximate time can change house cusps and angles, especially near a boundary. An unknown-time chart uses a clearly labeled local-noon reference and omits rising sign, houses, angles, and pattern claims. Some Moon signs and aspects can remain uncertain. The app does not rectify or guess a birth time.
Does an empty house mean that area of life is missing?
No. An empty house means none of the supported major planets is placed there. Read its cusp sign and traditional ruler alongside the whole chart. The absence of a planet is not evidence that relationships, creativity, work, or another life area is unavailable to you.
Is my report personally written by an astrologer?
The report is assembled automatically from a rule-based editorial framework using your calculated chart. Ask Your Chart uses AI with your calculated placements and specific interpretation instructions. Neither is a private consultation with Priscilla or a professional astrologer. Independent professional review of the framework has not yet been completed.
What do the prices include?
The free mini report stays free. The $19 USD one-time detailed report includes five AI questions for that chart. A $10 USD one-time add-on adds ten questions to the same report. There is no subscription. A completed answer uses one credit; a blocked or failed answer does not. Purchased credits have no scheduled expiration while this service operates, and the app shows your remaining balance.
How do I download or print my report?
Open your report and choose Download reading for an HTML file, or Print / Save PDF and choose your device’s PDF option. Save your private recovery link separately. The recovery link restores online access; the downloaded reading is a copy you can keep offline.
I paid, but the report did not unlock. Should I pay again?
No. Use Check payment status if it is visible, wait for your payment method to confirm, or reopen your private recovery link. Some bank payments take longer than cards. If the purchase still does not appear, email support with the checkout email and receipt. Contact support if you need help verifying a payment.
Can I correct birth details after purchasing?
A purchased report is linked to the birth details and calculation settings used at checkout. Creating a new chart does not rewrite that order or transfer its questions. Contact support about an entry mistake before making another purchase; we will review the correction with you.

One chart, one-time purchase
The detailed report costs $19 USD and includes five AI questions about the purchased chart. Ten additional questions cost $10 USD. Prices and the final amount appear in Stripe before payment. There is no recurring subscription. Reports are automated digital interpretations for education, entertainment, and personal reflection. They do not predict events or provide professional medical, legal, or financial advice.
Seven-day report satisfaction policy
If the detailed report is not right for you, email help@thecosmicbrief.info within seven calendar days of purchase to request a full refund of the report price. Include your checkout email and receipt or report reference. You do not need to leave a review or buy anything else. The policy applies even if you have downloaded the report or used its included questions.
Additional question packs
You may request a full refund of an entirely unused ten-question pack within seven calendar days of its purchase. Completed answers use credits; a question in progress temporarily reserves a credit. Once any question from a pack has been answered, the pack is not refundable under this voluntary satisfaction policy. Contact us about duplicate charges, missing access, or failed service regardless; this policy does not limit rights that apply under consumer law.
What happens after a refund?
Refunds are reviewed and processed manually to the original payment method through Stripe. Once a refund is processed, the refunded purchase’s online access or remaining credits are removed. A report refund removes report access and its included questions. Contact support about any separately purchased, unused question packs on that report. A disputed payment can pause access while it is reviewed. Downloaded files cannot be remotely removed. Your bank or payment provider determines when the funds appear.
Keeping access and getting help
Save your downloaded report and private recovery link. Anyone with that link can view the report and use remaining credits. Support can help recover a verified purchase without charging for the same report again. We do not automatically email reports or subscribe customers to marketing. Contact support for a correction, accessibility issue, privacy request, or suspected calculation error.
Policy edition: October 20, 2026. Future changes will not reduce the purchase terms agreed for an earlier order. The app does not promise permanent hosting; retain your downloaded copy.

Natal Sky by The Cosmic Brief was created by Priscilla Melendez for people who want to understand the details of a natal chart without having to begin as an astrology expert. The focus is on the relationship between placements, houses, and aspects, with room for your own experience and judgment.
Our report framework is automated. It combines original planet-pair subject matter and shared aspect-family framing with the chart’s signs, houses, orbs, and stated uncertainties. It does not claim access to private facts, a predetermined future, or messages from guides. Relevant spiritual questions can be explored as beliefs or interpretations, without presenting them as established facts.

Privacy & report access.
Chart inputs are sent over HTTPS to this site and processed in memory. Free calculations do not create a saved profile. Purchasing creates an order record with encrypted chart inputs, payment references, and question-credit entries for access, accounting, and recovery. Purchased charts and stored answers remain available while you retain access and the service operates, unless you request deletion. Unpaid drafts older than 30 days are removed during periodic, traffic-triggered maintenance after we verify that an associated payment is not paid or still pending. Unresolved payment records are kept until their status can be checked. This app does not use analytics. The hosting provider may process normal infrastructure logs. Google Fonts receives standard font requests. Place searches use the bundled GeoNames data, not an external geocoder.
Your current chart stays in memory as you move between pages in this tab. Reloading or closing the tab clears a free chart. If you choose checkout, the app keeps that chart in session storage to restore it after cancellation. “Clear my chart” removes that copy and resets the screen. Downloaded reports remain wherever you save them.
Stripe’s embedded payment form may use cookies and interaction data, including your IP address, for payment processing and fraud prevention. Stripe processes payment and receives an opaque order reference, plus the contact and payment information you provide during checkout. We verify the payment before serving the detailed report. Keep the returned report-access URL private: it contains a private access token for that purchase. Anyone with it can access your report and remaining questions. Save the downloadable recovery link. Clearing the page does not delete purchase records.
While checkout is unconfigured, a free detailed-report preview is available. No money is collected. Reports offer educational and spiritual reflection, not medical, legal, financial, or predictive advice.
Live AI sends questions and calculated chart context to OpenAI only after consent. For paid questions, this app stores an encrypted answer and a question fingerprint to prevent duplicate charges on retries. Conversations otherwise remain in page memory. You can download your conversation; keep that file private. OpenAI API data controls.
Support messages you choose to send go through your email provider and our support inbox. We use them to resolve your request. The website’s support composer does not submit a message itself. Authorized support staff can look up a purchase and its checkout email in Stripe to verify ownership and recover access. We do not automatically subscribe checkout customers to marketing.
Request permanent deletion of a purchased chart
Email help@thecosmicbrief.info from your checkout email with your receipt or report reference. We verify the request before removing the chart inputs, stored answer content, and question fingerprints from the active app database. This permanently disables that report’s recovery and unused questions. It does not issue a refund; ask us about any eligible refund before confirming deletion. Minimal purchase references and credit-use records remain for accounting, refunds, and disputes. Stripe, OpenAI, email, and hosting providers handle their own records and backup retention. Downloaded copies on your devices remain yours to manage.
“Clear my chart” only clears this browser’s copy; it does not request server deletion. Privacy requests and newsletter preferences are separate; there is currently no newsletter signup.
